Heat damage is one of the most common issues I see — especially on fragile hair, extensions and blonde hair! 🔥
Not only does it dehydrate your hair and cause breakage, but it strips toner, colour and shine bit by bit — leaving you with dull, brassy hair faster than you’d think.
Even UV rays in summer are a hazard. So a few non-negotiables:
1. Heat protection, every time
2. Wear a hat when you can’t avoid the sun
3. Keep hot tools under 160–180° especially for blonde extensions
4. Oil serum daily — no skipping it

Let’s talk hair loss — this is the early stages of traction alopecia.
It happens when hair is repeatedly pulled in the same high-tension position — think tight ponytails, slicked buns, the mum bun you throw it up in every single day.
