You are probably undercharging 😟 Here is how to fix that 😀

When you are starting out, pricing feels like a guess. You look at what senior artists charge and feel like you can't justify it.

You look at cheaper competitors and feel like you have to match them.

Neither approach is right .

Start with your actual costs. How much product are you using per job? What does travel cost you in time and money? How long does client communication, travel, application, and pack-down actually take when you add it all up?

Calculate your minimum (the number below which you are working at a loss) and never go below it. That is your floor, not your rate. Your rate sits above it, based on your experience, your speed, and what the market will pay.

As those things improve, the rate moves up.
