This makes your workout more effective and comfortable.

New study compares mixed session vs. block periodized resistance training in trained men! 💪🏋️♂️ Researchers found that the mixed session program led to greater gains in muscle size and bench press strength, while the block periodization program improved vertical jump performance. Both programs were 10 weeks long and had equal training volume. 💥
The takeaway I got from this was consider incorporating mixed sessions for muscle hypertrophy and strength gains, and stick to block periodization when your ready to send your power.
