We love Tania and the team at who have been recycling their salon resources with us for many years. They’ve made an incredible difference to the environment (over 7 tonnes of carbon emissions saved!), and their foils and metals are generating funds for - helping young Australians to overcome educational inequality caused by poverty. Well done!!

Great to have members of the Economic Development teams from Sunshine Coast and Noosa Councils visiting our warehouse this morning to learn more about the positive impact we’re having on our local market and environment. Lots of awesome discussion around opportunities for greater action around sustainability for our local citizens and businesses!

Quick run to our processing partners this morning with around 750kg of recyclable salon waste! By recycling the foils and aluminium, we’ve saved enough energy to power an Aussie home for 1 month. And by recycling the cardboard, we will also have saved 7,150 litres of water!

Great news! We've launched our Waste Free Collection Hubs at Salon Direct on the Gold Coast!
If you're a freelance or home-based stylist on the Gold Coast, you can now subscribe to our Collection Hubs service, drop off your salon recycling to Salon Direct in Helensvale or Burleigh Heads, and divert 90% of your salon waste from landfill!
On top of that, proceeds from recycling foils and metals through Salon Direct's Collection Hubs will be donated to Watergum, who run several environmental programs in the Gold Coast region.
