Sue and I had our last Scent and Sound Healing at the Young Living Experience Centre at Norwest on Saturday. A small but fantastic group of people who loved it.
We will continue at the new Experience Centre at Macquarie but are also going to do these smaller groups at my space in Kellyville.
I have so many beautiful memories made at this space. Thank you young Living for giving us such a beautiful space for so long. Xx

Dis you see the segment on essential oils on channel 9 last night? As a longtime user of quality essential oils it came as no surprise to me. For years I have been using, diffusing and teaching the safe use of essential oils with the purest quality essential oils I have ever used in my 30 year-old practice of using natural therapies. I will be 72 on my next birthday and feel much younger, energised and happy and many people say I dont look my age.
I only use and recommend Young Living Essential Oils, the very best oils from an ethical company, that have given me the best results with my clients, family, friends and beloved pets. Some people think they are a bit expensive, well guess what, you get what you pay for in this world!
Cheap oils from unscrupulous producers are cheap for a reason. They use oils from fields sprayed with chemicals, or from companys that use fillers to pad them out. Or companies that distill these precious liquids at a very hight temperature which increases the yield of oil and therefore also increases their bottom line. This means the oil still smells nice but there is little or none of the healing benefits left in the oil. And those toxic chemicals stay in the oil and in your body. They may be cheap but they dont work and they may be harmful, not healing.
And for my massage students - remember if you choose to use a cheaper massage oil or cheaper professional massage blend - you absorb approx a third of the oil you are using on your client, family, children or friends into your own body. And that is every time you do a massage.
Young Living follow a strict Seed to Seal policy, use no chemicals either in the growing, harvesting or production of their exquisite oils. That is why they work so well.
I have also had the priveledge to visit 3 of Young Livnings essential oils farms, 2 in America and one in Provence in France and seen the lengths they go to produce their high quality oils.
Remember long before we had big pharaceutical companies we had oils and herbs. These were our first medicines. If you think about what we eat many essential oils have an affinity with our bodies, we were meant to eat these plants.
In ancient times they did not know how to adulterate, add fillers, use chemicals - they were just pure and full of natural benefits. Young Living wellness oils are listed with the TGA and they have many essential oils that are also approved by Foods Standards Australia to use in teas and as flavouring for our cooking. Things like the Culinary oils lemon, orange, grapefruit and parsley, black peppler etc.
So dont be put off using essential oils, just choose the best in my opinion - Young Living Essential Oils.

I AM REPOSTING THIS AMAZING POST FROM FRANCES FULLER on how she uses essential oils with Kinesioly and Energy healing. She uses many of my own favourites. Essenrial oils are so good at lifting your vibration and boosting your mood. Have a read. Frances is amazing.
How do we learn to trust our inner knowing... that gut feeling or intuition? I have found that utilising INTENT, kinesiology, and, of course, essential oils has strengthened my confidence in trusting my own inner guidance.
Some of the essential oils that I love to use are my Rainbow Healing oils . . .
GERANIUM, LAVENDER, CEDARWOOD, NORTHERN LIGHTS BLACK SPRUCE, ORANGE, SACRED FRANKINCENSE, LEMON, JASMINE, YLANG YLANG and SACRED SANDALWOOD. I also reach for the blends BELIEVE, SACRED MOUNTAIN, CLARITY, VALOR, and HIGHEST POTENTIAL.
Certainly, there are many others, and you may find your favorites as you experiment by layering different combinations. I love to apply them anywhere (my favorite place is over the heart) and breathe in the aroma of each. Then I always INTEND to make that strong connection with my Creator, the Source, and to understand on some level the guidance that I receive. It may be a “feeling” or a flash of a memory, or simply the feeling of peace, of being grounded.
I like to use my kinesiology and ask very simple questions that only require a “yes” or “no” answer. The more we practice listening to our own heart, the better! Start out by asking really simple questions that will not alter the course of your life... and have FUN as you develop your ability to more clearly hear your guidance!
💜 Kinesiology is a method of accessing one’s body-level knowing. It is a skill that improves with practice.
Have a FUN weekend understanding more of YOUR gifts!

Personally i adore Boswellia Carteri, i have loved it for my skin aits relaxing properties and uplifting aroma. It feels like a hug from a friend. Although both are good.
This post explains the difference between Bosweillia and Sacra.
What's the difference between Frankincense and Sacred Frankincense?🌿
Frankincense is one of the most famous and commonly used essential oils. Frankincense is produced from the resin of the Boswellia genus of trees. The Boswellia tree can grow with little to no soil, blooms with white or pale rose colored flowers, and has papery, peeling bark. Today, we love the essential oil produced from the resin, but in ancient times, the resin was given as a gift and burned to purify the air.
Both Frankincense (bosweillia carterii) and Sacred Frankincense (bosweillia sacra) are produced from the same species of plant but in different regions. Bosweillia carterii comes from Somalia, whereas sacra comes from Oman. Different regions in which a plant is grown can affect an essential oil's biochemical specificity. Besides the country of origin, the chemical composition of essential oils can be influenced by the plant's growing conditions such as light, soil, temperature, moisture, climate and altitude. For some essential oils even the time of day a plant is harvested can impact its chemical composition.
Both Frankincense varieties have skin-supporting properties and both can be used to create peaceful and calm atmospheres. I love to use both for meditation. Frankincense (Bosweillia carterii) has a slightly milder aroma than Sacred Frankincense (bosweillia sacra); however, both have that rich woodsy aroma we all love.
Frankincense was one of the oils when I first got my starter kit that I wasn't sure what to do with it. Then I started reading about all of the INCREDIBLE benefits and realized I needed to start using this oil consistently.
Every night before I go to bed, I apply my nightly face serum, which includes frankincense. Not only is it incredibly grounding and relaxes me before bed, but it is also supporting my skin better than ever! It is helpful for restoring the skin to its natural state. It is amazing for redness, blemishes, wrinkles and giving your skin that dewy glow!
When I am feeling restless, overwhelmed, nervous or worried, I love to apply a drop to my diffuser or palms of my hands and inhale deeply.
Who else is a Frank fan? 🙋🏻♀️
Thanks Scienceofessentials for this post!:)

Thanks to my friend Anna fir sharing this from S. A. Johmson.
Neroli is among the top essential oils I recommend to women based on research and clinical experience.
A systematic review of 12 clinical trials involving over 1,100 women highlighted the significant therapeutic potential of neroli EO across various stages of reproductive health. The study found that neroli is particularly effective in the "labor room" setting, where it significantly lowers anxiety, reduces the perception of pain, and helps stabilize vital signs like blood pressure and heart rate during delivery.
Beyond childbirth, the research indicates that neroli is a powerful tool for managing hormonal transitions; it was shown to alleviate physical and psychological symptoms of PMS and reduce the intensity of hot flashes and anxiety in postmenopausal women. The oil appears to work by influencing the endocrine system—specifically by lowering cortisol (the stress hormone) and potentially balancing estrogen concentrations. Because no significant side effects were reported, neroli stands out as a safe, evidence-based aromatherapy option for improving overall well-being and emotional balance in women's health.
In short, neroli is a great natural solution for women from beginning menstruation to post-menopause.

Most commonly, I recommend applying diluted neroli to both inner forearms and spending ten minutes inhaling the aroma, once or twice daily.
