The beautiful used my face as a canvas to test out our favourite Kryolan products- and my eyes truly glowed under the UV light 😍

Hi everyone! I’m Andrea, a Sydney-based makeup artist, and I’m volunteering to teach a free makeup class for a local women’s organisation, WAGEC (.girls.emergency.centre) I want to support women to learn practical beauty skills and build their confidence 🩷

I’d love to put together a small personal kit for each participant so they can take home what they’ve learned - but I’m working with a very limited budget.

If anyone has unused or lightly used makeup or skincare items (that can be safely sanitised), I would be so grateful for donations!

Examples include:
• Foundations, pressed powders, blush, eyeshadows, lipsticks, lip and eye pencils
• Brushes, sponges, powder puffs
• Makeup bags or mirrors
• Skincare from a pump bottle, ie cleansers, toners, serums, moisturisers and unopened face masks
I’ll ensure all products are properly sanitised with 70% and 90% isopropyl alcohol before being included.
Even one item can make a difference. ❤️

DIMENSIONAL DRIFTER SFX (FAKE WOUNDS)
I had such a blast working on this short stunt film! I got to do hair, makeup and SFX - I made the knife wound with 3rd Degree mixed with red flocking, deadener and Kryolan Supracolor creams for quick on-set application. Bruises were painted with alcohol-activated inks, finished off with blood for that perfect gory touch 🩸

Huge shoutout to the incredible team - I can’t wait to see the final cut! 🎬✨

Reminiscing on 2024, aka the BEST weekend of my life! ❤️ I got to help organise and run the event and Q&A, I organised interviews with the artists (filmed by my talented friend ) and got to sell merch- and the whole time I was immersed in the crazy world of FX (yes I was fangirling the whole time!!)

My first SFX teacher from NIDA stopped by and so did my dog, Bailey (who wasn't as chuffed by the creatures as I was)
