Lilith is no ordinary goddess – she has a rich history found in Mesopotamian, Babylonian, and Judaic mythologies. She's particularly known as the first woman, the original wife of Adam. Unlike his second wife, Eve, Lilith wasn't created from Adam's rib - she was created from the earth, as he was.
Lilith fiercely believed in her innate equality and right to autonomy. Adam, on the other hand, believed in his patriarchal right to assert dominance over Lilith in every way. Lilith eventually rebelled, refusing to submit to Adam's control. She committed blasphemy by speaking the name of God out loud, and then she fled the Garden of Eden to create her own life outside of Adam's rule.
Lilith is the ultimate feminist icon – the original symbol of independence and sovereignty. She's not here to play by anyone's rules but her own. She's a fierce protector of women and a patron to those in abusive relationships. She's like the cosmic guardian, standing by her sisters and guiding them to reclaim their power.
You can work with Lilith any time you need a boost of feminine strength, independence, and empowerment. She's there to remind you that you don't have to fit into anyone's mould or play by society's rules. You are the master of your own destiny, just like Lilith herself.
