I’ve done thousands of blondes over my career… and here’s the truth about purple shampoo 💜

If you’re blonde, chances are someone has told you that purple shampoo is a must. But honestly, it’s one of the most misunderstood products in haircare.

Purple shampoo is designed to cancel out yellow tones and make blonde look cooler or ashier. It does NOT lighten your hair, and it’s not something every blonde actually needs.

Here’s where so many blondes go wrong:
Too much purple shampoo can leave your blonde looking flat, dull, greyish, and lifeless instead of fresh and glossy.

If you love creamy, bright, expensive-looking blonde, overusing purple shampoo may actually work against you.
