Yesterday, I had an amazing opportunity and was able to run an incursion with the kids at vacation care at Our Lady of the Assumption and together, we made body scrubs.

They did so well and loved being able to choose a scent and take them home. We all had a great time 🤗

Our Body Oils are the ⭐️ of the show this season!

Winter, especially with the super cold weather we have been experiencing lately, really tends to dry out our skin and can make our skin conditions like dermatitis and psoriasis flare up.

The best way to prevent that would be to use something on our skin that will lock in the moisture and protect our skin barrier.

That’s where our body oil comes in. Without being too heavy or comedogenic (pore-clogging), it will help our skin retain moisture so that it does not get overly dry or damaged.

The reasons that you would use skincare on your face, are the same reasons that you should use it on your body.

Looking after your skin (face and body) from the outside will help it heal, improve its overall function and prevent transepidermal water loss which can lead to skin conditions like dermatitis/eczema and premature ageing.

This doesn’t mean you should use the same products on your face that you do on your body and your body often doesn’t need serums or correctors, but simply choosing the right body wash that won’t strip your skin, exfoliating weekly, moisturising and nourishing it, is all that it needs.

We are back AND so excited to share a couple of treats for Mothers Day soon.

Quite a lot has happened in this little break, although the highlight of it was finally travelling to Melbourne to graduate with a Bachelor of Dermal Sciences. It has been a year since I finished my course but due to the pandemic (much like MANY other things) it got postponed.

I am excited to be back on here and have added a new accessory to our collection in the meantime which I will also be sharing soon!
