Nothing beats a gorgeous, natural-looking tan to make that dress pop and bring the whole look together.

Competition tanning can happen in a few different ways — either at the venue with the federation’s approved tanning team, or with a separate experienced competition tanner.

There are benefits to both, and while the process can be slightly different, the goal is always the same… an amazing, stage-ready tan! 🤎✨

Something a lot of people don’t realise is that not every spray tanner knows how to do competition tans. Comp tanning is very different from your everyday spray tan. There’s a specific process involved, completely different solutions are used, and your tanner needs to understand what is required for the stage and your federation’s standards.

I’ve been lucky enough to be trained by the absolute best, Skinz Stage Team , who I also work alongside at competitions. I also offer competition tanning from my home studio for athletes who prefer that option.

I absolutely LOVE doing comp tans. There’s something so rewarding about being a small part of all the hard work that goes into getting an athlete stage-ready — and I love hearing everyone’s stories and following their journey to the stage. 🏆
