Okay, honestly… we’re pretty disappointed with the CMC Rocks lineup 😩
Don’t get me wrong — Brooks & Dunn are absolute country legends and I can definitely appreciate them in my 40s! 🙌🏼
BUT… for a festival like CMC Rocks, I really feel like they needed at least one big, CURRENT country act in there too. Someone relevant to today’s country music who gets the 45-and-under crowd excited — especially the teens!
We LOVE country music, but country has changed so much and there are so many incredible newer artists right now. I just feel like this lineup is missing that one act that would’ve made us go, “YES! Now we’re excited!” 🤠🎶
Anyone else feeling the same?

We got tickets!!! 🙌
We were planing on putting a tent on a friends Caravan site, but they missed out on that, so I managed to grab a site that has a tent already pitched, with a blow up mattress, sleeping bags, chairs and a lantern!! 🥰
We will still see if we can get a camp site together on Friday. But if not, we are all set to go!!😍

We’re attempting to get CMC Rocks tickets for 2027… and when I say I’ve been wanting to go for a while, I mean I’ve been trying to get there for about 20 YEARS! 😂
Every year it’s been “one day”… but fingers crossed 🤞 2027 is FINALLY the year!
Now we just need to survive the ticket scramble tomorrow 😬😂
CMC Rocks 2027… please let this be our year! 🤠🎸🍻

How has it already been over a YEAR since we were in America?! 🇺🇸❤️
I absolutely love America and there’s still so much I want to see and do… I honestly can’t wait until we get to go back. ✈️
But for now, our next adventure is getting closer! This December we’ll be jumping back on another Fiji Airways flight — this time heading to FIJI for Christmas! 🇫🇯🌴🎄

The Big Pineapple Train Ride, Sunshine Coast!
🍍 A little Sunshine Coast adventure we absolutely loved!
We popped into The Big Pineapple for an hour or so and jumped aboard the train 🚂 — and we were actually surprised by how much we enjoyed it!
The train ride was really informative, with lots of history about The Big Pineapple and the area, and it’s a relatively affordable little activity for a weekend or school holiday adventure.
We only did the train this time, but you could easily make more of a day of it — visit Wildlife HQ 🐒, head inside the Big Pineapple 🍍, grab something to eat at the café and have a wander around.
And with more shops set to open in December, it’s going to be even more worth a visit!
I love finding affordable little adventures like this right here on the Sunshine Coast. 💛
