It’s not always your hormones, it’s how your body is handling them. When you support the foundations, your symptoms often shift without needing to force anything.
If this made you rethink your symptoms…
Send me a DM and tell me what you’re struggling with most.
I’ll tell you what I’d focus on first.
Big resolutions don’t change your life.
Small consistent actions do.
Here’s what actually creates long-term health:
The 1%ers.
A glass of water when you wake up.
A 10 minute walk.
One good meal instead of a perfect day.
Going to bed 30 minutes earlier.
Taking your supplements.
Choosing consistency over intensity.
You don’t need a new life.
You need small decisions, repeated daily.
Because 1% better each day doesn’t look exciting…
but it changes everything.
This year, don’t chase motivation.
Build habits.
Build trust with yourself.
Build a body that supports your future.
Your health isn’t built in January.
It’s built in the quiet, ordinary days after.

Our daily habits have a huge impact on our hormones, especially when we hit perimenopause.
These are 6 habits that I swear by as a naturopath in my 40’s to help keep my hormones stable.
Do you struggle with any of these?

Still trying to eat like you did in your 20s… and wondering why it’s no longer working?
Here’s the truth most women aren’t told:
In your 40s (and beyond), your hormones shift, and that means your nutrition needs to shift too.
☕ Coffee on an empty stomach
🍽️ Skipping meals
🥗 Eating “light” all day…
These old habits can now backfire, leading to:
➡️ Blood sugar crashes
➡️ Belly fat
➡️ Low energy
➡️ Mood swings & cravings
Why? One word: Oestrogen.
As it drops, insulin resistance can creep in, and suddenly your body isn’t responding the way it used to.
It’s not about “eating less.” It’s about eating smarter.
✨ Nourishment > restriction
✨ Balance > burnout

Bloating, fatigue, mood swings… sound familiar?
If you’re navigating perimenopause and feeling off, your liver might be working overtime behind the scenes.
This isn’t just about “detox.”
Your liver helps balance hormones, manage energy, and even stabilise mood — and when it’s overwhelmed, you feel it.
Swipe through to learn why your liver matters so much more than you think during this transition — and what you can do to support it, naturally.

A little controversial I know! But hear me out….
Calorie counting is overrated, especially in perimenopause. It’s not about the numbers, it’s about nourishing your body with whole foods, supporting your hormones, and focusing on sustainable habits to achieve a healthy weight that is easily maintained while also feeling your best.
If you’re tired of the calorie-counting cycle and want a more balanced approach to weight loss, pop in a comment below or DM me. Let’s make this journey easier and more empowering.

3 things I did in 2024 that improved my health and I’m bringing into 2025, that actually made a real difference.
Here’s what worked for me…
1. Pilates. I started gradually with 1-2 classes a week, now I’m doing 3-4. This has made a huge difference in my mental health and helped reduce my blood sugar levels that had started to creep up due to loss of muscle (hello perimenopause). My joint pain has also disappeared!
2. Protein for breakfast. I aim for 30g with some fibre to keep my energy and blood sugars stable. It’s also important for building muscle and maintaining a healthy weight.
3. Finding a hobby that brings me joy and includes family connection. I used to compete in lots of sports when younger, so go karting brings out my inner child!
How are you prioritising your health in 2025?

Is it perimenopause?
This is one of the most common questions I get, and if you’re over 35 and noticing changes in your body, it’s a good one to ask. Changes with your cycle, started waking in the middle of the night, mood swings, or even weight gain—these can all be signs your body is shifting.
Perimenopause is a natural phase, not a condition, and it’s different for every woman. If you’re feeling off, you’re not alone.
