Yesterday’s circle was a gentle reminder of the healing that can unfold when women gather together.

As we settled into circle the simple medicine of gathering began to work its quiet magic, and feelings of peace, gratitude, grace, and love naturally emerged.

Warm hugs were shared, wisdom gently exchanged, and synchronicities seemed to find their way, landing just at the perfect time. Stories were gently offered and received “listening with the ears of our hearts” as Jane Hardwicke Collings, teacher of Shamanic Womancraft would say.

Together, we remembered (re-membered) the nourishment of connection in this deeper yet lighter way, sharing laughter and resting in a space of genuine presence anf belonging.

My heart is full of gratitude for these women and the gentle healing, magic and warming medicine that unfolds when we gather in Circle, an ancient and deeply natural way of coming together, offering the gift of returning to women’s native way of being 🧡🌿💫🌱🫶🏻🌻

I recently read an article about the era of the “Tiger Mum,” and how it taught many women that motherhood meant pressure, perfection, performance and sacrifice.

And how we are leaning into a deeper understanding of Mothering.. a culture rooted in attunement over control. Connection over conditioning. And presence over pressure.

We understand that children are not projects to perfect. They are nervous systems to nurture. Souls to witness. And humans to walk beside.

We are finding another way.

Not mothering from fear of failure, comparison or achievement…
but from deep listening, emotional safety and relationship.

The feminine does not rush the blooming of a flower. And perhaps children were never meant to be shaped through force, but lovingly supported to unfold in their own timing.

The world does not only need high-achieving children. It needs emotionally secure, deeply connected humans. 🌹

The story of The Red Tent 🌹

In our women’s reflection circle, we spoke of the old stories of women gathering together when they bled — not in shame, but in sacred return.

The Red Tent was said to be a place where women rested, listened, shared stories, and remembered their deep inner knowing. The village would continue on without them for a few days, and when guidance was needed, people would turn toward the women’s wisdom.

Whether mythology, memory, or sacred metaphor, the story reminds us of something modern life has almost forgotten:

That women are cyclical beings.
That there are seasons to soften, rest, reflect, and turn inward.
And that when women gather in sacred space, something deeply healing awakens — within ourselves, and within the world around us. ✨

LIFE’S TRANSITIONS

✨ Maiden • Mother • Maga • Crone ✨

A woman’s life is not linear.

We move in cycles, seasons, thresholds, and continual becoming.

The Maiden lives within curiosity, emergence, innocence, exploration, and discovering who she is. She asks:

✨Who am I? What is possible for me?✨

This is the archetypal seasonal energy of SPRING.

The Mother is not only about birthing children. She is the nurturer, creator, giver of life — ovulating and birthing dreams, relationships, ideas, community, and care. She asks:

✨What am I here to nourish?✨

This is the archetypal seasonal energy of SUMMER.

The Maga (often called the Wild Woman or Wise Woman) arrives through life experience, thresholds, and inner transformation. She no longer seeks approval from the outer world. She begins to reclaim herself, soften old conditioning, and trust her intuition more deeply. This season asks:

✨What is ready to be shed? What deeper truth is emerging?✨

This is the archetypal seasonal energy of AUTUMN.

The Crone carries wisdom, perspective, and deep inner knowing. She embodies the elder - story teller of wisdom, presence, truth, and the medicine of lived experience. She asks:

✨What wisdom am I here to share?✨

This is the archetypal seasonal energy of WINTER.

Yet these archetypes are not fixed ages or identities.

We carry them all within us.

At different times in our lives, we may feel the Maiden beginning something new, the Mother tending what matters, the Maga shedding and awakening, or the Crone whispering quiet wisdom.
