25 August — Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day 🩸
1. On 25 August, 2017, hundreds of thousands of Rohingya were forced to flee their homeland.
2. Many Rohingya families had to cross the border and seek refuge in Bangladesh.
3. Innocent children, women, and elderly people were among those who lost their lives.
4. Many homes and villages were burned, leaving families with nothing but painful memories.
5. Thousands of Rohingya were forced to leave their homeland and live as refugees.
6. 25 August is a day to remember the victims, honor the survivors, and call for justice.

On August 25, 2026, the Rohingya community will come together to remember the tragic events of the past and honor the memory of those we lost. This day, known as Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day, is a solemn occasion for us to reflect on the immense suffering and persecution our people have endured.
As we mark this day, we reaffirm our commitment to seeking justice, dignity, and a peaceful future for all Rohingya. We call upon the international community to stand with us in our pursuit of justice and accountability for the crimes committed against us.
Our community is resilient, and we are determined to rebuild our lives and preserve our culture. We are grateful for the support we have received from around the world, and we hope for a future where we can live in peace and security, free from violence and discrimination.
Join us on August 25 to show your solidarity with the Rohingya community. Together, we can make our voices heard and advocate for a just and peaceful future for all.
