Smooth gradients + definition = my smokey liner technique for my beautiful client 🤎🪄

swipe to see the journey (also healed ombré lips) :-) subtle, yet defined. deep brown shadows with darker depth in the lash line. lifted upwards to create a lift effect (otherwise gravity will do its thing & the liner will lower overtime).

I’m always really conservative with PMU - for the better! We can always add more at the touch up session. PMU in my studio is always going to heal well long term when you let me do my thing! too much saturation will result in heavy, fake-looking PMU. I keep it subtle and natural for the sake of you and your face, after all, sometimes preferences change! if not, you can always touch them up later 🫶🏻

Pale lips are no match for a n**e blush 👄🧸

These lips were just so natural and stunning on her, perfect for her skin tone and complexion. Her inspo was the sheer gloss in ‘Pinkies Up’ & ‘Lovely’ lip stain by

A question I get a lot in DMs is ‘can you match my lip products with lip blush’?

🪄 Yes! I do this with every single client that comes in, whether you bring products with you or not. Part of why I’m known for lips is because of the ability I have to recreate your exact shade match with lip pigments, and predicting the healed result.

Here’s what we need to consider:

💡 Studio lighting and natural lighting are different, so some photos may look warmer or cooler indoors vs outdoors. The same goes for your skin. The exact same lip pigment mixture on one client, may look completely different on another client, even if they’re the same complexion.

🎨 Your undertone, complexion, lip texture, lifestyle and skin conditions matter so much as to what we can and can’t achieve with lip blush. This is where the expert comes in to help with guidance and honesty, so you have beautiful results long term.

🧪 We have limits of course. Shades that are too dark or too vibrant aren’t flattering for the lip tissue long term. However, most lip pigments like this natural n**e are super natural in the skin as it ages.

Every pigment formula is custom for every single client. Consulting with you on your desired healed result is the most important part of the entire service, after all - it’s your face 🫶🏻

Healed Ombré Lips: Melanin & Pigmentation Balancing 🩷

My client’s lips contain filler, melanin and uneven pigmentation. Our goal was to create a pigmented pink lip to take place of her everyday lip combo. Adding colour was our main goal, creating more definition around the border 💘

This is one session healed, imagine the touch up healed - so good.

Touch ups are essential and multiple sessions may be necessary to achieve your desired result. Lips heal and fade (between 30-50% depending on the technique, pigment and skin) throughout the healing process. In order to last a few years, a touch up is a must! This will provide a longer-lasting result with little to no maintenance in between 🫶🏻

So happy for my client !! She put down the lipstick and has no worries about lip product touch ups all day or her lips looking colourless 🙂‍↕️

The only thing that matters — the healed result.

Healed Ombré Lip Blush using ’s Sugar Glaze, Taffy & Candy Apple

Huge thanks to for teaching me her ombre technique - I love love love doing it 🤎 thank you to .streeton for modeling this technique for me!

The most common question my clients ask during our consult is: ‘How will my lips heal?’

That’s up to you, me and clarity.

👄 If you want a more high definition effect, it will be super bold on days 1-3! If you want a more sheer, tinted effect, it will be slightly less bold, and fade about 50%.

👄 The key to predicting healed results is understanding the vastness of colour theory, anatomy and pigmentology - it goes so much further beyond ‘I want something natural’.

👄 Your definition of natural may be different to others! For me, natural means more transparency in the lips with vibrant colours and more coverage with light value, more muted and soft tones.

👄 Overall, you can expect your lip blush will be a bolder, more intense version of your healed result for the first 3-5 days. From there, the pigmentation starts to disappear otherwise known as ‘ghosting’, then comes back around the 2-3 week mark.

👄 I do not and will not oversaturate the lips even if that’s what you prefer. I am simply an artist that will enhance what you have, not overfill your lips with ink (which can stay for decades in the lips), especially with unnatural colours. Lip Blush heals soft for a reason. Think ‘my lips but better’ and ‘a soft tint with definition’ — I stand by this type of work, always 🫶🏻

Crispy, thin lip blush outline satisfies every part of my brain 🤌🏻

Precision is what happens when we’re patient and intentional in our work. Balanced lip mapping + controlled outline = The best foundation for a perfect blush 👄

The hottest lips are the most subtle ones imo 🌶️🤌🏻

Healed sheer lips on a gorgeous bride to be, not only is the colour absolutely spot on to her favorite lipstick in sheer application, the added symmetry is just too good 🤤

To prep for her big day, her first session was in Feb, this is exactly why I keep it natural in the first session. We can always always add more, build more or shift more in your next session.

While sheer lips have less longevity, they give the ability to shift to a different tone, become brighter, deeper or more saturated in the future. It’s your face, but I hold strong on conservative work to maintain your lip’s integrity 💌💌💌

Just a reminder, I’m away from April 30 - May 29, so please book in advance - you do not wanna miss out on an appointment for months! Xoxo

It’s that time.. Full course schedule is out! 🎉👄

Over the past year, I’ve refined how I teach lip blush. My approach combines high technical standards with structured education — because beautiful, long-lasting results are built, not rushed.

This training is designed for artists who are willing to practise, refine, and be corrected. I focus on precision, competency, and structured feedback — not speed.

If you’re looking for a quick certificate, this isn’t for you.

If you’re ready to build real skill — welcome.

Each intake will be small (2 students) and application-based.

Applications are now open. See you soon ☁️

What a privilege it is to teach. thank you for sharing your wisdom, teaching your technique and overall being a collaborative artist and educator.

I am so proud of our students, they truly deserve to be recognized as artists. Each student is so individual, having learned every approach to train and assess students, I feel so fulfilled knowing my students are prepared and ready to work on skin.

The Art of Lip Blush is something I created for a new era of artists, those willing to refine their skills and be intentional with their work. PMU isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme, it’s an art form that pushes us to perfection.

I loved teaching alongside you, Christina. Here’s to the next one 😉

Course dates, waitlist and more details will be available online soon. If you’re ready to build a strong foundation in PMU, send me a dm 🙌🏻

Healed Ombré Lip Blush: a series👇🏻

My beautiful client Jasmin wanted to mimic her favorite lip stain. Her musts: border definition, not unnatural when healed, brownie pink colour. (Her healed Smokey lash line too!)

Her first session, we did a slight ombre lip using n**e, pink & brownie shades. She healed perfectly! In her touch up session, we perfected the pigment mix to give her more brownie-n**e lips (this suits her complexion best). Leaning more into certain shades can completely change your look, that’s why colour theory is such an important part of my job! In total, I’ve spent about 7 hours creating these results.

All of my lip blush appointments can take up to four hours from start to finish. Rushed work shows in healed results.

Controlled depth, intentional pigment selection and understanding how lips truly heal is what creates longevity — not speed. If you value precision and beautifully healed results, I’ll see you in my studio.
