Hurricanes are strong storms that cause life and property threatening hazards such as flooding, storm surges, high winds and tornadoes.
Preparation is the best protection against the dangers of a hurricane.

🛫 FLIGHT UPDATE 🛬
International scheduled commercial flights and private charter flight options, while limited, still exist in The Bahamas.
U.S. citizens who wish to return to the United States should make commercial arrangements as soon as possible unless they are prepared to remain abroad for an indefinite period of time.
⏱The next scheduled commercial flights to the United States are as follows—all flights are to Fort Lauderdale, Florida; please check directly with the airlines.
JETBLUE, departing from:
- Nassau: April 21, 23, and 28; all flights depart at 4:31pm
SILVER Airways, departing from:
- Freeport: April 23, 25, 29, 30 (flight canceled on 22)
- Georgetown: April 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30
- N. Eleuthera: April 22, 23, 24, 25, 26
- Bimini: April 24, 26, 27
