Crazy Spa Story ❗️😂 - Thank God I don’t take things personally.

I worked at this Arabian owned spa in Canada. EVERYONE was either brown or white, I’m the only “black”. Ok cool.

Things went well at first, but the owners tried to downplay my position as a Medical Esthetician because they were Doctors and nurses. 🙄 ok cool.

This where it all started.
Every job was 30 minutes lunch break, ok cool. But the owner, Arabian guy dr., said he wanted to switch it to only 15 minutes lunch break for me. , then so much attitude came to the surface with everyone, only speaking in their language etc. So I asked the owners wife “why did you hire me if you know you people are not interested in working with me.” LOL. she said “because Gekeria, we want to try 😳 we want to be more “diverse”.

God is so good. That same week a much better job I applied for called me, I was out of there. 😂
