Bahamas Bodybuilding, Wellness and Fitness Federation

The Bahamas Bodybuilding, Wellness and Fitness Federation confirms that it remains the officially recognized national governing body for bodybuilding, wellness, and fitness in The Bahamas, operating with the continued support of the Ministry of Sports.

The Federation has become aware of an externally promoted bodybuilding competition scheduled for August 2026. This event is not sanctioned, approved, or recognized by the Federation.

The Federation advises athletes, stakeholders, and the general public that all official national competitions, athlete selections, and international representations are conducted exclusively under its authority.

Furthermore, the Federation reminds all athletes that only officially authorized communication channels, branding, and uniforms are recognized for national representation. Any unauthorized use of the Federation’s name, logo, or identity is not permitted.

The Federation remains committed to maintaining the integrity of the sport, supporting athlete development, and ensuring that bodybuilding in The Bahamas continues to operate under clear and professional standards.
