As I stand on the threshold of a new year, my heart overflows with gratitude for the journey I've walked with God❤ (tota ha ne se ka Ene , nkabo ke le kae? 😏).
Reflecting on the past, there's a song that echoes the sentiments of my soul, 'For my Good' by Maverick City:

"I used to damn those desert valleys,
But now I thank you for those droughts.
I used to curse the walls around me,
But now I see You had it figured out.

There is beauty in the ashes,
There’s a peace within the storm.

Through highs and lows, I've learned that every challenge, every tear, and every joyous moment has been a piece of a beautiful puzzle designed by a loving Creator 🥹. Everything you and I have endured was indeed for our good. (Romans 5 v.3......but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope!)
It's incredible to realize that even when I couldn't see the way forward, God was working it all for my good:

"It was all working for my good,
If only I knew back then what I know right now.
Nothing is wasted in Your hands,
God You didn’t forsake me,
And I know You never will."

In moments when darkness threatened to engulf me, His light pierced through. (Psalms 18 v. 28..."For it is You who light my lamp; the Lord my God enlightens my darkness) 🥹:

"When I should’ve lost my mind,
You showed up right on time.
Carried me through the valley,
All the way on the other side.
When pain tried to take my joy,
That’s when I felt You more.
Now I’ve gotta testify,
God you kept my heart alive."

So here's to a new year filled with gratitude for the past, trust in the present, and hope for the future. May we carry the assurance that we're held by a love that never falters, a love that kept our hearts alive ❤❤🥹:
