Mr World Botswana Home Coming & Media Brunch Invitation
Ministry of Local Government and Traditional Affairs - Botswana in collaboration with Mr World Botswana proudly celebrates the return of its representative, Vincent Gobuamang, Mr World Botswana who made history as the first-ever Mr World Botswana to compete on the prestigious international stage of Mr World 2024 in Vietnam.
The 22 years old, Vincent Gobuamang, hails from Qabo, a small settlement in the Ghanzi district. His inspiring journey began after winning the Mr RADP (Rural Area Development Programme) Fashion Show in 2022, an initiative under the Ministry of Local Government and Traditional Affairs’ Affirmative Action Policy introduced in 2014.
Though Vincent did not advance to the Top 20 at Mr World , he captivated the judges with his remarkable showcase of Botswana’s culture and tradition, shining a global spotlight on his beloved Qabo. His efforts earned him a place in the Mr World Top 30 Beauty With A Purpose and Top 5 in the Sport Challenge- Running, proving that dedication and confidence can break barriers, regardless of one's language or background.
The Mr World Botswana extends a heartfelt congratulations to the newly crowned Mr World 2024, Danny Mejia of Puerto Rico and the continental winners for their remarkable achievements.
We also express immense gratitude to our sponsors and Botswana for voting.

A heartfelt congratulations to Mr World Botswana Vincent Gobuamang for competing at Mr World 2024.
Though Vincent did not make is to top 20, his dedication and confidence shone though and he should be proud of what he accomplished.
Vincent Gobuamang is a 22 years old young man who comes from a small village called Qabo, a Ghanzi sentlement in Botswana. Qabo has a population of 1060 people and for Vincent to represent his country shows that you don’t need to come from big cities or towns or privileged to represent your country
Vincent represents the Botswana that we aspire to where all of us stands a chance irrespective of the language you speak especially if not Setswana or English.
This was reiterated recently by our President Advocate Gideon Duma Boko on allowing all of us as country to be able to use our language.
