If there is one woman whose strength, resilience and determination I will forever admire, it is YOU.

You raised two girls — me and my little sister — as a single mother, yet somehow you made sure we never felt like we were lacking. You gave us love, you provided for us, you supported us, and you believed in us. When it came to our education and academic success, you were ALWAYS in our corner. You pushed us, encouraged us and reminded us that we could become anything we wanted to be. 📚❤️

And then, when most people would have said, “I’ve done enough,” you decided to START AGAIN.

You literally started building the life you dreamed of at 40. You built your dream home, became a multiresident, got yourself your own car, and continued creating a life that you could be proud of — all through your own hard work, courage and determination.

Mom, your life is proof that it is never too late to start over, dream again, and build the life you deserve. You taught us resilience without even realizing you were teaching us. You showed us what it means to keep going, even when life doesn’t make it easy.

Everything you sacrificed, every difficult season you pushed through, every prayer, every late night, every decision you made for us — I see it. And I appreciate it more than words can ever express.

Today, I don’t just celebrate your birthday. I celebrate the WOMAN you are. The woman who raised us. The woman who never gave up. The woman who started again. The woman who built her dreams.

We are so blessed to call you Mom. ❤️

May this new chapter bring you the same love, joy, abundance and happiness that you have poured into us all these years.

Watching Pinkie’s journey with cancer and seeing how intentionally her friends loved, supported, celebrated, and stood by her until the very end really opened my eyes.🥹🤞🏼

It reminded me that tomorrow is never promised. We often assume we have more time to say “I love you,” to show up, to celebrate the people we love, or to make things right.

I want to do better. I want to be a better partner, daughter, mom, sister, and friend. I want to love people loudly, show up intentionally, celebrate them while they’re here, and never leave the important things unsaid.🥹💕

Life is so fragile. Tomorrow isn’t promised, and none of us knows when our last goodbye will be.

May I never wait for a loss to realize how much someone means to me. ❤️🥹
