it’s lash shed season! 😜😫
do you notice your fill looking a little… different lately? that could be because you’re experiencing a lash shed - when all your telogen lashes are at the end of their cycle and falling at once to make room for the anagen lashes coming in behind them. this can leave your lashes feeling gappy.
from beginning to end, the lash cycle can take anywhere from 4 to 11 months, but lash artists typically see clients have a shed at least twice per year.
your lash artist will do their best to lash around the gaps, creating fans that disguise them and/or apply single lashes to the anagen lashes to fill the gap without damaging the new growth. so what can you do?
be patient, trust your lash artist, don’t pick your lashes, and keep up your aftercare routine. I guarantee your lashes will be full and fluffy before you know it. 🤍
