OIL vs. CREAM - Why Oils Are So Great 🌱 We are often asked why oils are so great for the skin and how they compare to conventional creams, so we thought we would touch on the amazing benefits oils have to offer you and your skin! 🌿 ➡️When you use organic products that contain raw, cold-pressed and unrefined plant oils, your skin will receive and absorb all of the beneficial antioxidants and nutrients that each plants has to offer! Since your skin naturally produces and hydrates itself with oils (sebum) it knows how to properly absorb, and naturally thrive using plant oils… ➡️When using a cream, we don't receive and absorb the same amount of nutrients, because creams typically sit on the surface layer of the skin, because they are thicker. Creams also contain various fillers (like water & waxes) and synthetic preservatives all of which contain no healing or anti-aging benefits for the skin. ➡️When you see the first ingredient is Aqua (water), which is virtually all cream based products as it is very cost effective, you know for certain that this product must contain preservatives and/or stabilizers, since water naturally destabilizes natural ingredients and causes them to go rancid, this is one of the main reasons why our products are produced without water - more concentrated 💚 ➡️ A cream based formula also goes through a heating process, during formulation, which diminishes the nutritional content that is naturally found in any of the plant based ingredients being processed for the finished product.
