A little White Gold goes a LONG way. Start with a small amount, warm it between your fingertips and apply. You can always add a little more if you need it.

When I started rendering tallow in that bowl two years ago, I certainly didn’t know where it was going to lead.

I’ve learned. I’ve tweaked. I’ve listened. And I’m incredibly proud of the White Gold I make today.

Two years. Same bowl. A whole lot of learning. 🤎

When I made my first batch of tallow in October 2024, I really had no idea what I was doing 😂. I was learning as I went — and one of the things I was most nervous about was adding too much oil.

So I played it safe.

Over the last two years, I’ve experimented, adjusted, listened to feedback and learned what works. I gradually increased the oils and, most importantly, found the consistency that I wanted White Gold to have every single time.

The White Gold I make today has come a long way from what came out of that bowl in 2024.

And I’m pretty proud of that. ❤️

So if you tried White Gold way back in the early days, I’d love for you to try it again.

Two years ago today, I rendered tallow for the very first time. 🥰

I had no idea that first bowl would turn into 1000 Islands White Gold — or that two years later I’d still be here making, whipping, jarring and sharing something I genuinely love.

What started in my kitchen has grown into jars in local stores, repeat customers, messages from people telling me how much they love their White Gold, and so much support from friends, family and this community. 💕
