Pregnancy doesn’t just change your belly—it changes the way your whole body moves, adapts, and carries you. 🤰

And sometimes the discomfort shows up in places you didn’t expect: tingling hands, aching ribs, pelvic pain, or that familiar pain that travels down your leg.

Prenatal massage isn’t about “fixing” pregnancy or making every ache disappear. It’s about supporting your changing body, easing muscular tension, improving comfort, and helping you move through pregnancy feeling more supported.

✨ Swipe through for 5 pregnancy pains you may not realize massage can help with.

Every pregnancy is different, and your treatment should be too. Your positioning, pressure, areas of focus, and techniques can all be adapted to where you are in your pregnancy and what your body needs that day.

Pregnant and wondering if massage could help what you’re experiencing?
Send me a DM or book your prenatal massage with LadieRMT. 💙

Your body is doing incredible work. You deserve support while it does it.

Massage isn’t only for when something hurts.

Tension, stiffness, headaches, jaw clenching, and that general feeling of being “stuck” in your body can be signs that it’s time to pause and check in with yourself.

Regular massage can be part of a proactive approach to body care — helping you notice what’s changing before discomfort becomes your new normal.

So if you’ve been thinking, “I really should book a massage…” 👀
Consider this your sign.

Your body doesn’t have to start shouting before you listen. 💙

POV: Your RMT gets quiet during your treatment.

No, I’m not zoning out. 😂

I’m usually thinking about things like:
• What am I feeling under my hands?
• Does this fit with what you told me during your assessment?
• What should I address next?
• Am I staying within the plan we discussed?
• Is there anything I need to reassess or adjust?

Sometimes the quietest part of the treatment is when the most clinical thinking is happening.

So if your RMT suddenly gets quiet…
just know the wheels are turning. 🧠

“So… you just give massages?” 👀

Well…

Sometimes I massage.
Sometimes I drive.
Sometimes I set up a whole treatment room.
Sometimes I network.
Sometimes I work alongside doulas.
Sometimes I educate.
Sometimes I stand at a vendor market all day.
Sometimes I carry approximately 47 things into a building in one trip. 😂

There’s the packing.
The planning.
The conversations.
The community events.
The continuing education.
The admin.
The “where did I put my massage oil?” moments. 😂

And then, of course… there’s the actual massage.

Because being an RMT is a little more than what happens on the massage table.

A little peek behind the scenes of LadieRMT. 🤍

Same body. Different perspectives. 🤝

When it comes to your musculoskeletal health, there’s rarely just one piece of the puzzle.

🦴 Chiropractic care may assess the spine, joints, movement and overall mechanics of the body.

💆‍♀️ Massage therapy looks at the muscles and other soft tissues, how they’re functioning, and how they may be contributing to how you feel and move.

We each bring a different perspective to the table — and sometimes, putting those perspectives together can give us a better understanding of the bigger picture.

Because your body doesn't work in isolated parts… and neither should your care.

Different professions. Different perspectives. One goal: better-informed care. 💙

👣 Your feet do a lot more than you give them credit for.

They carry you through your workday, your workouts, your errands, your pregnancy, chasing little ones around—and everything in between.

But because they’re so far from our attention, they’re often the first thing we overlook when our body starts asking for a little extra care.

Foot tension doesn’t always stay in the feet. It can influence how you stand, walk, and move, creating a ripple effect through the ankles, knees, hips, and even your back.

Sometimes, taking care of your body starts with the part that carries you through it all. 🤍

Give your feet the attention they deserve.

Save this post as a reminder—and the next time you’re thinking about booking a massage, don’t forget to include your feet. 👣

Have you ever apologized during a massage for something that didn't actually need an apology?

"I didn't shave." "Sorry my stomach keeps growling." "Sorry if I fall asleep." "Sorry I'm so tense."

If you've ever caught yourself saying any of these... you're not alone. 🤍

As an RMT, I want you to know this:

Your massage appointment isn't about being the "perfect" client.

It's about giving your body permission to slow down, breathe, heal, and simply be.

Bodies make noises. Bodies hold emotions. Bodies carry stress. Bodies change through pregnancy, postpartum, aging, injury, and life.

None of those things need an apology.

My treatment room is a judgment-free space where you're welcome exactly as you are.

Which one have you apologized for before? ⬆️
