Hey there! My name is Erin, welcome to Valkyrie Massage Therapy! While I am a brand new graduate of The Alberta College of Massage Therapy, I am no stranger to healthcare. I have spent over a decade as a Licensed Practical Nurse, specializing in Women’s Health as well as wound management. I am excited to step into this new role as a Massage Therapist.

I am known for my optimism, kindness, humour and strength, both inside and outside of work. I am passionate about people and helping them along their wellness journey. I view myself as a holistic practitioner, both in my nursing role and as an RMT. Priding myself on being able to see people as a whole; mind, body and spirit.

Massage is a very dynamic field of health care! In the next year I would like to increase my skill set to include; RAPID NeuroFascial Reset, Graston Technique, dynamic cupping and hot stones. Late 2023 I would like to begin training in reflexology .

Outside of work you will find me cruising up and down the bike trails of Calgary and Canmore. Spending time with my pack of mostly grown children, and figuring out how to turn my BBQ into a smoker. Community spirit/ giving back is very important to me. During the summer months I spend ten days flipping pancakes and wearing a cowboy hat! I also devote a weekend (and then some!) to the 200 km ride raising funds and awareness for the Alberta Cancer Society. Recently I was able to offer my time to The Hockey Marathon, benefiting the Alberta Children’s Hospital (PS check out their page to make a donation Marathon for the Kids)

I am very excited to be on this journey as a massage therapist and cannot wait to meet you!
