Let's talk SPF... and yes I know to some of you we sound like a broken record 🙄 BUT since the sun is responsible for 90% of our skins signs of aging (not to mention the risk of skin cancer) I think it's worth mentioning... a lot. 😌 And for those of us that live in colder regions where we get 5 mins of sun a day if we're lucky... yes, we still need to apply it daily.
Here's a few tips to make applying your SPF a new habit if it isn't already.

☀️ If you dislike the thick textures of some SPF products that leave a white cast switch to using a mineral based product. These can be a thinner consistency and will usually not trigger any breakouts.
☀️ Aim to use a chemical free product, which will often be mineral based. Avoid products containing Oxybenzone (worst offender), Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octinoxate, Octocrylene, Cinoxate, Dioxybenzone, Ensulizole, Meradimate, Padimate . These are terrible for you and the environment. They can cause health risks such as reproductive issues and more.

☀️ Use an SPF that has a tint. This can replace or compliment your daily foundation, making it easy to remember.

☀️Keep a travel sized SPF in your bag. Especially during the summer months, you're going to need to have this handy to re-apply. Sitting out on a patio or a day at the beach will require more than 1 application. I personally like the little SPF mineral powder brushes. Easy to pop out and brush on a fresh layer even if wearing makeup.
