Locking down lower lashes

Have you ever finished a set and asked your clients to open but they couldn’t? Chances are a couple of your clients bottom lashes have popped up.

Here are a couple of tips you can do to ensure it does not happen:

♡ Choosing the right pad.

♡ Ensure the lash pad fits. Theres no “one size fits all” everyones eye shape is different, make adjustments by cutting the pad so it fits right.

♡ Use tape, it’s your bff in this industry. This really helps to get any stragglers that pop up.

♡ Check your work during and after your sets. Detach any stickies that have occurred.

✨Doll Eye✨
The definition of MY doll eye is when the eye is open, the longest lengths are directly over the iris and the lengths graduate smaller on the inner and outer corners.

Tips on achieving this mapping

♡ Use a pen to mark the iris on the lid when your clients eyes are opened. That way when your client closes their eyes you’ll know where to apply the longest lengths!

♡ The center of the iris with the eye open is NOT the same as the center of the lid with the eye closed.

Cleaning your lashes will help the lashes stay put and not clump up from any leftover make up, sweat, oil, bacteria, etc. It takes 30 seconds to clean them I know you have time🤭

𝐁𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐇 your lashes. Once in the morning and once at night. Don’t forget to send me your selfie AFTER you brush those babies out

𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊 your fills in a timely manner. Last minute appointments are extremely stressful on your artist especially when you know how busy they are. Book early!!! Trust me, it makes our day ♥️

Improve the longevity of your extensions by washing them daily! Build up of oil, sweat, and gunk around the lash line weakens the bond between the extension and natural lash. Washing is also important to provide that optimal healthy environment for baby lashes to grow strong.

Well hey there little out grown lash!

This is how all your lashes should grow out. With proper application this is what healthy lashes should look like. What many new lash lovers don't realise is that each and every single natural lash we have already goes through a shedding cycle. They grow, mature and then shed. The average person has between 90-120 natural lashes per upper eyelid, and when you take into account that on average we will naturally shed 2-5 lashes per day, we lose a lot of lashes over the course of a month.

When you guys are coming in for your refills, every 2-3 weeks, this is what us lash techs check for in each set! We check for any out grown lash extensions that need to be removed and replaced with a new lash extension.

To maintain your lash extensions, 2-3 week refill visits are a must. Once the extension has grown out this far it will weigh on the natural lash.
