She couldn’t stop blushing after she saw herself in the mirror.

For this look, the focus was on correcting hyper pigmentation without overwhelming the skin.

She was having a photoshoot with multiple outfits and colours. So we picked a muted colour palette on the eyes and lips. Because n**e is always safe when the makeup artist is not on set with you.

Creating this makeup look on for her photoshoot was fun and a reminder of the mastery required to create a true ‘soft glam’.

As someone who doesn’t wear makeup, I could sense her confidence in my artistry and a tiny bit of nervousness that quickly turned into excitement as soon as we wrapped up.

For this look, the focus remained on breathable skin work that true to tone, while leaving the eyes and lips muted. All natural birth marks were left unmasked intentionally.

The ladies that want an elevated, radiant, youthful look that doesn’t overwhelm or overpower their natural features come to Koko for a reason. And this session was a good reminder.
