Most Groomers don’t have bathers, just can’t afford it, but the ones that do, I want to personally thank you bath/blower people, it’s a job often unrecognized, I believe your job is 80% of the work, you do 2 jobs and you have to do them well so you can set up your groomer for success, from “squeaky clean” to “bone dry” that is a huge job, often restoring the coat back to its hydrated position for each and every breed and coat type, you also need to know your shampoo’s, not every skin type is the same due to the growing amount of allergies, same with blowing, with every CM of space you meticulously blow dry looking for anything out of sorts on the skin, abrasion, ticks, fleas, bumps, moles, matts, again prepares the groomer. Most pro handlers will agree that a great win can depend on how clean and well nourished your coat is and often will bath there own dogs for the show for this reason, the grooming is the icing on the cake, but you need to prepare your cake well for the icing to stick and be able to cutt perfectly 🐾🌸🦋

Big groom yesterday for poor Carlos🙈 he wasn’t matted, but the undercoat let loose after his presoak🙈 7 intense hours of grooming and 1 hr of cleanup, good thing I’m his mommy 😂🤪
