Three main reasons why your lashes hurt

👁Placed too close (or attached) to your eyelid

👁Your natural lashes were not isolated properly. 2+ natural lashes attached to one extension

👁Your technician used the wrong diameter of extension for your natural lashes. This can cause squared bases and weigh your lashes down.

All of the above reasons can cause pinching and pulling of your natural lashes.

Her first appointment we decided to start with a hybrid set to gauge what result she was wanting for her wedding. Yesterday, she opted for more length and slightly more density. VOILA we ended up with a masterpiece that shapes her eyes beautifully☺️

Three reasons why you NEED lash extensions for summer;

✅no smudging mascara! We all know how much it sucks to go to the pool or to the lake with mascara on and come out of the water with black raccoon eyes. Lash extensions are the perfect alternative — no smudging, perfect lashes every time.

✅wake up and go! A lot of my clients LOVE how they are able to wake up for an evening shift 5 minutes before they need to leave

✅perfect for weddings, graduation or any other special occasion. We all know how strip lashes suck to put on. The glue never lasts and you always have that one inner corner that won’t stay on. Lash extensions break that cycle. You will have perfect lashes for your special occasion!

How often do I need to come for fill appointments?

Personally, I recommend booking your first fill appointment two weeks after your initial appointment. This way we can gauge how fast your regular growth is by observing how much outgrown lashes need to be removed before filling your lashes.

If your natural lashes have slow growth time, we can move your appointment to every three weeks. Keeping in mind that you need to have at least 40% retention at the time of your fill (this is AFTER out grown lashes have been removed)

If you have fast growth, I would recommend coming every two weeks to ensure you will have at least 40% retention at fill time

What is normal for lash shedding?
•
Naturally your lashes shed 2-5 lashes per day! And in one week you lose 14-35 lashes per week!! Your extensions should look like the photos provided upon shedding. If there is not a natural lash attached, the bond from the adhesive broke off from the natural lash = application error or environmental impact.

During lash shed seasons - spring and fall/winter - you tend to shed more lashes in a day! A lash shed season, you have to give your lashes 2-3 cycles (2-3 lash fills) to get back to your normal shed cycle

How should my extension look when it sheds?

🌼 approximately 2-3mm of the extension is bonded to the natural lash.

🌼amount of adhesive - there should be no “globs” of glue attached to the natural lash and the extension. You should not be able to see the glue

🌼ONE extension is applied to ONE natural lash — NO CLUMPY LASHES ☹️

🌼no oils, dirt, dead skin, or makeup should be visible on the extension or natural lash — this indicates that the lashes have been washed properly!!

This new client of mine — new to lash extensions — came to me wanting extensions that were light, accentuated her eyes, and didn’t overpower her features.

We gave her a super natural classic look to start out that lifted the outer corners of her eyes to create the appearance of a more open eye.

With the lengths that I chose, if desired, we are still able to make them longer and keep her natural lashes healthy
