The part of microneedling that I get really excited about doesn’t actually happen until after you leave the clinic 😉
The treatment itself sets things into motion. Creating little microchannels for infusing products, waking up collagen producing skin cells, disrupting the barrier just enough that it triggers the shed of old, dead and damaged cells and getting your immune response going in a way that supports healing.
I’m such a visual learner that I actually picture your immune system as a little construction crew that gets woken up and called to the worksite. The DP4 device is the foreman that organizes the crew and gets them on the job and working.
The initial series calls that foreman (the DP4 device) back to the worksite to make sure no skin cells are slacking in their collagen producing job and making sure that the clean up crew is actually getting rid of the old cells and not just casually sweeping them under another layer.
The series keeps your skin cells working and once the skin is motivated, the foreman only needs to check in a few times a year to make sure that maintenance is running on schedule.
Are you ready for your skin to get back to work? It starts with a consultation 😊

I get asked this question a lot 👀⬇️
The names are often used like they mean the same thing but they aren’t, at least, not exactly.
They both create tiny, controlled channels in the skin that your body recognizes as something to repair. The repair process is what builds new collagen and elastin. That’s where the similarities end.
Where they differ is the tool and mechanism behind it. Microchanneling uses a stamping device, manually pressed into the skin one section at a time. Microneedling, with a device like the DP4, oscillates continuously and creates channels at high speed, up to 1,920 per second.
Don’t be afraid of the speed! It’s what makes the treatment more comfortable. More like a buzzing sensation against the skin rather than a prickle.
We love your questions! Don’t ever be afraid to ask for clarification. That’s what we’re here for.

I’ve had a few clients come in lately who have had Microneedling done at other clinics, emphatically saying that they will NEVER get it done again 😔
Please give it another chance! The device changes the treatment and makes all the difference!
We chose the DP4 for it’s precision and efficiency but we also chose it for it’s specific treatment parameters and protocols. The user matters just as much as the device itself.
We love the DP4 because it allows our clients to return to their daily activities often the same day. No one has time for downtime!

What if your skin wasn’t the problem but rather a reflection of a deeper imbalance?
Redness, dullness, breakouts and even skin laxity are all signs of what’s happening within our bodies.
Aesthetics can be somewhat ‘surface’ and it’s often easier to make treatment suggestions based on what we can see, rather than truly addressing the cause.
I think it’s time we start looking for the root of the problem.
As a nurse, my training and experience encourages me to dig deeper. I ask different questions because I like to look at the skin not only as a system itself, but as a system that connects to every part of the body beneath it.

Before “what can we do?” comes “why is this happening?”
Skip the why, and you’re just guessing at solutions. Start there, and everything else makes sense.
The why gives us the full picture. It allows us to present options that can actually make a difference.
It starts with asking the right questions.

Soft. Natural. No drama.
Right after your appointment, your skin may look a little pink and feel slightly swollen. This is normal. For most people, this settles quickly.
You might also notice a small bruise at the site. This is common with any injectable treatment. It can be covered the next day and fades away on its own.
You will see a visible difference right away. NaturaGel delivers immediate soft volume, so the change is noticeable from the start. As the gel is gradually absorbed into the skin, results will continue to shift and settle over the following weeks.
We walk you through exactly what to expect at your appointment, including how to care for your skin afterward.
Curious if NaturaGel is right for you? It starts with a consultation.

Did you know there are two type of aging?
There’s the one we’re born with: Genetics, the cellular clock, the hormonal shifts like menopause. That part happens no matter what we do, and it’s not a fight we will win.
The other comes from outside of us. It’s years of sun exposure, pollution, stress and sleepless nights. It’s the everyday wear on our skin. Unlike the first kind, this part of aging responds to lifestyle changes and what we do.
We don’t have to accept it as ‘just aging’ Here’s what we have control over...
Sun exposure alone is estimated to account for around 80% of visible facial aging over a lifetime. Not genetics. Instead, it’s years of small, daily exposures sneaking up on you.
So when someone tells you (or you tells yourself) “it’s just aging” and leaves it there, you’re leaving out the single most important part of what we can do.
I don’t tell people this to make you feel like you’ve missed out on years where you should have been wearing sunscreen. I tell you this because it changes how you move forward and it changes the statement. Not “I guess it’s just aging” but “what’s actually happening and what can I do about it?”
That’s a very different conversation from resigning yourself to the aging process to now having a plan and having influence over it.
Skincare is about having healthy skin. And healthy skin starts with an assessment. Taking a real look at what’s actually happening and having an opportunity to learn what you can do differently.

💕 It’s here and we’re READY!
Six months ago, NaturaGel was something we were still deciding whether to investigate.
Since then, it’s been a lot of research, reading the evidence, checking it against Health Canada requirements and our scope of practice as Registered Nurses. Then vetting the supplier directly and asking questions that don’t have marketing answers. Then hands-on training, because reading about a treatment and being trained to deliver it safely are two very different things. Then spending time using it ourselves and getting comfortable with the technique before opening it to clients.
That’s the process behind everything we bring into the clinic. You just don’t usually see the process. This time, we wanted you to know.
NaturaGel is now officially part of Skinjections, Cochrane. It’s an additional option for patients looking for a non-synthetic approach to volume and skin support, alongside everything we already offer.
Booking is now open, starting with a consultation, because candidacy is something we determine together.
If you’re curious about whether it’s a fit for your skin, it starts with an assessment. 🤍

She asked for a midface refresh. This is immediately post treatment. We softened her nasolabial folds and restored cheek volume. Nothing drastic. Just soft and natural. A little pink to the cheeks is to be expected after touching the skin 😏 It settles quickly.
NaturaGel is autologous which means it’s made entirely from a small sample of your own blood, processed into a PRP-based gel and put back into the skin. No synthetic fillers, no foreign material.
Results build gently as your own collagen responds.
✨ Made by you, for you.
