I’ve taken a break from posting/promoting on social media due to life being so crazy! But we are still here and still making tallow balms for our valued customers!

Our tallow balm, Eczema Relief, is created using local cowichan valley grass fed, grass finished beef tallow that’s slowly wet rendered into our liquid gold, it’s the main ingredient followed by raw unrefined shea butter, organic avocado oil and tea tree!

Created with your little ones in mind we wanted to make an unscented product for those with extra sensitive skin or baby skin!
Baby Balm is formulated with only 3 ingredients!
-Tallow
-Shea Butter
-Jojoba Oil

How is our balm any different than everything else on the market today, you ask?

We use Local Vancouver Island Grass Fed Grass Finished Beef Suet taken directly from around the kidneys where the most nutrients lie, the suet is then rendered a minimum of 3 times for clean, shelf stable Tallow that is then infused with organic Shea Butter and Jojoba oil to create a buttery soft balm safe for every skin type!

Tallow is extremely nutrient dense, it is amazing for your skin because of all the vitamins Jam packed inside including vitamins A, D, E, K, it’s anti inflammatory, and even anti aging!!
Tallow also mimics the skins natural sebum production which makes it incredibly easy for our skin to absorb the nutrients.

Shea Butter helps to lock in moisture and provide long lasting hydration all day!

Jojoba Oil provides incredible hydration and is also anti inflammatory, anti microbial, and anti aging thanks to the vitamin E and antioxidants!

Everything is made in small batches locally in the cowichan valley with no hidden ingredients!

It’s cold and flu season and we have a new product that came just in the nick of time! Say hello to our own take on a V***r rub called “soothing menthol”.

We are now offering a new balm made with grass fed tallow, Castor oil, and eucalyptus!
We all know the benefits of tallow by now but let’s talk a little about our other ingredients

Castor oil 🫘
Many know that castor oil is used as a carrier oil and is very moisturizing! but did you know it’s been a staple in natural medicine and has shown to be an anti inflammatory! Castor oil can help reduce inflammation in your muscles/nerves, help with arthritis, and provide relief for your cold and flu symptoms!

We’ve paired castor oil with eucalyptus for the perfect all in one solution to your cold and flu symptoms without additives you see in other V***r rubs.

You can also use this balm for sore muscles and joints! It’s not like a traditional icy hot. it doesn’t give that hot/cold feeling on the skin but it does ease the pain and inflammation!

I’ve been using this on myself for a year since I started this little experiment that’s now grown into bovine beauty and it’s relieved my shoulder/neck pain. I also apply it to my feet every night and I haven’t had a stuffy nose since I started using it!

Just finished up this order for a dear friend of mine who decided to support small local businesses this holiday season 🎄

I am so thrilled with how these came out! From the labels, to the product itself! I have put countless hours in to create something so simple, yet so effective for dry irritated skin! Because it’s an oil based product a little goes a long way!!!

Our formula is created in small batches using grass fed tallow and organic ingredients! I normally get about 4 1/2 tins out of a batch. The half tin is then used as a tester on me and my partner to insure there is no abnormalities in the batch we created!

Please keep in mind that because these are made in small batches the consistency’s may vary from tin to tin, these are also heat sensitive 🔥 so they are very soft and buttery at room temperature, but if the temperature drops too much 🥶 they are a little harder in consistency!

These are preservative free! The balms are shelf stable for up to a year (if they last that long 😉) at room temperature, and will last forever in the refrigerator as long as no water or other contaminants get into the tin!
