12 week check-in: improvement season

Sitting at 115lbs (11lbs above β¬οΈ stage weight). Feeling strong every weight training session, and improving each week. Cardio was increased to 30mins approx. X 5 days this week. Calories sat at 1600 this week, with focus on water & protein.
I plan to keep everything the same for the next few weeks. My training will continue to focus on glute building, with some delt & back work a couple days a week.
Next check-in will be in 4 weeks π. Hoping to see a bit more changes over the next 3 months. At which time I will decide if I will start a prep or build more π.
Less than 2 weeks I will be 45!

Week has gone good besides over consuming mini bars π« π
. Cardio & Training has lightened up this week to continue my body's recovery.
Next week calories will increase to 1600cals /day. Wednesday higher day: 2000cals. Cardio & Training will remain the same.
Can't wait to start building again, one more week to go! π₯ππ

Quick trip to Edmonton this weekend to compete in ππͺπ.
This was a (sort of) last minute decision. I knew I wanted to compete this summer but wasn't sure when. This competition just made sense with the date (long weekend) & location. So I worked hard prepping myself for the last 8 weeks ( or longer depending how you look at it I guess). My goal was to see my progress from last show (October 2023) as I had worked to maintain a moderate bodyweight while building muscle (aka lean build). It still meant being disciplined, but not too strict. Self-coaching isn't easy but it's a challenge I welcome. I still have lots of learning to do and more preps that will consist of trial and error practice I'm sure. As for this one, I feel like I did make progress since last show, but I have not seen my stage shots yet. I was leaner than last show but still not quite conditioned enough to place top 3, unfortunately. Getting closer tho π€ͺπ. For now, I'm going to get back to building and sculpting this physique . ππππ
