Because moms are never just “one type of person.”

My mom is soft and gentle — she tells the best stories, cooks for me and my little brother, and stays beside us whenever we’re sick.

But she’s also SUPER brave. Like actually cool-movie-main-character brave 😭✨

After working for 10 years in banking, she decided to completely change her life, move our whole family to a new country at 40, and start everything again from zero. I honestly still think that’s kind of crazy (in the coolest way possible).

Even after going through difficult things when she was younger, she still chooses to stay positive, curious, and excited about life. She has lived in different places across Asia, Europe, and North America, has a million hobbies, and somehow still has energy to support all my random creative ideas 💅

She’s not only my mom, she’s also my best friend and business partner 💕

Lolanail would never exist without her.

I came to Canada when I was 9 and quickly noticed that nail designs here felt very different from the nail art I loved seeing from China.

Since I’ve always loved painting and handcrafts, I started learning nail art through in-person courses and online tutorials, then began creating my own press-on nail sets at home ✨

What started as a hobby slowly grew into Lolanail — a small handmade nail brand where I design and create every set myself.
