Sugaring While Pregnant? Here's the Deal 🤰
1. Tell us you're expecting. Hormones can make skin more sensitive, so we'll adjust pressure and pace. Surprises are for gender reveals, not your sugaring appointment.
2. Book in the second trimester if you can. Less nausea, more comfort. The first trimester is rough enough already.
3. Expect things to feel different. Increased blood flow can make areas (yes, those areas) more sensitive than usual. Totally normal.
4. Hydrate and eat beforehand. Low blood sugar and pregnancy don't mix. Have a snack before you come in.
5. We'll get you comfy. Side-lying, extra pillows, breaks whenever you need them. Your bump sets the schedule.
6. Skip the numbing creams. Check with your provider before using any topical products. Our paste is just sugar, lemon, and water.
7. Planning a Brazilian before baby arrives? Book it 1–2 weeks before your due date, and don't stress if baby has other plans.
8. Aftercare matters more now. Loose cotton un**es, no hot baths for 24 hours, and let your skin breathe.
