Kelsey is a proud transman that is dedicated to equity and inclusion. Kelsey has worked in summer camps and youth programming for many years, and is currently serving as the 2SLGBTQ+ employee resource group chairperson for McKesson Canada. In his session, you'll learn about the gender and sexuality spectrum, how to create a sense of belonging in a camp setting, and how to foster a welcoming atmosphere about identity at an age-appropriate level. You'll walk away from this session thinking critically about your program and how you can create spaces that allow for honest self-expression. Did you know that July is Disability Pride Month and it has a flag designed by Ann Magill (Capricorn-0mnikorn on Reddit)? So much care and consideration went into making this flag and it shows.

While Canada Day brings joy to millions, many grieve on this day for the generations of trauma, injustice and genocide that has occurred. While I can't personally speak to the depths of these atrocities, I can say we need to do better and we need to listen. 🧡
In the comments I have linked a few great organizations working to make a positive change in this country.

A friend of mine just showed me a couple screenshots what's going on in the newest expansion for The Sims 4. Representation in a large video game franchise like this really does make a difference.
