Tonight was all about keeping it simple and getting food on the table FAST.
Work ran late, hungry tummies were circling, and nobody was interested in waiting for a five-star production.
But don't worry... dessert still understood the assignment.
Making a special guest appearance tonight were my homemade Crunchy Love Bites, and let's just say they've officially earned a permanent spot in my upcoming dessert book. (No, it's not out yet... yes, you're going to want it when it is. 😉)

Wine in hand because obviously ✔️
At this point, why even fight for parking or pay restaurant prices when the kitchen at home is serving THIS kind of energy?
The focaccia was soft, the sauce was rich, the parmigiana was giving main character vibes, and honestly… everyone cleaned their plates so fast I barely had time to sit down. 😂
This house doesn’t just make dinner… we make experiences.
Now excuse me while I sip my wine and admire my own cooking like the domestic goddess I clearly am. 🍷

I randomly threw together a dessert inspired by those viral Dubai chocolate bars… but obviously I had to make my own extra version of it.
Crispy,
chocolatey,
sweet perfection with a little bit of chaos mixed in for personality.
The family absolutely demolished it, so now apparently I’m expected to recreate this masterpiece again… except there’s one problem: IT DOESN’T EVEN HAVE A NAME YET. 💀
So I need your help.
Drop your best dessert name ideas below because “that thing I made that disappeared in 4 minutes” feels a little too long. 😂
Tonight’s dinner? A little spicy, a little sweet, and absolutely no complaints from this kitchen.
Hot and mild Italian sausages turned into fully loaded sausage dogs on fresh buns, paired with a giant spread of fresh fruit because apparently we’re balancing our lives now. 😂🍓🍍🍇

You all know I tested out a 7… (ahem)… 8 day natural liver detox and truthfully? I’m not mad about it.
But now we’ve entered my newest wellness era: amino acids + creatine.
And before anyone says “isn’t that for bodybuilders?” — no Susan, it’s for women over 40 trying to survive hormones, brain fog, exhaustion and metabolism betrayal. ✌🏻
Creatine helps support muscle tone, strength, energy and even brain health, while amino acids help with recovery, healthy aging and keeping muscle loss from stealing the show during menopause.
Because apparently after 40, if you don’t actively fight for your energy levels, your body just starts freelancing.
So here I am… sipping my little science juice, trying to age gracefully but also aggressively. 😂
