We were so excited to welcome local author Kate to exhālō today as she celebrates the release of her newest book, High Voltage.

Naturally, she had to mark the occasion with a fresh gel colour from her esthetician, Alisha, inspired by the cover of her new release. We’re loving this little detail almost as much as we’re loving celebrating Kate and her exciting new chapter.

With her s***k for life, love of art, and talents that seem to have no end, Gwen is truly a Jill of all trades! From creating beautiful hair to baking, canning, and all the creative things in between, there’s pretty much nothing this woman can’t do.

And we’re extra happy to be celebrating Gwen today with the lights back on at Kanata! 💙 After a short time away, it feels pretty great to have our doors open again and to have Gwen back with us doing what she loves.
