Balance and Bliss Yoga

Iyengar Yoga is a style of Yoga revolutionized by B. Iyengar spent the vast majority of his life focusing on prop use to allow for proper alignment in poses. The use of props allows absolutely anyone to get into the various poses and receive full benefits without putting themselves at risk for injury. Iyengar yoga allows even those with health concerns and injuries to participate, and will quickly become part of finding balance amongst each of those factors. Iyengar yoga is the foundation for the classes provided by Balance and Bliss Yoga. Classes will include a variety of traditional poses, as well as having options for flow and restorative. You can certainly expect a dynamic, fun class, suitable for anyone! At this time Balance and Bliss is a mobile studio. I practice and teach out of many different spaces. I make a point to travel with plenty of mats and props such as straps, blocks, bolsters and blankets, but if you have your own you are welcome and encouraged to bring them, too! Alternatively, there is the possibility for Balance and Bliss to come right to you.
