It’s been such an eye opening and exciting process — a small milestone, but one that feels truly meaningful.

Each blend, each bar, is crafted with the hope of nourishing not just your skin, but also bringing a little extra lightness and care to your day.
This is just the beginning, and I’m so excited to continue growing and sharing this journey with you. 💛

These bars have been slowly curing over the past few weeks which means they’ve had time to fully set, lose excess moisture, and become harder and longer-lasting. It’s all part of the magic that makes handmade soap so special!

Each bar is made with so much love using plant-based oils, pure essential oils, and natural colorants. They’re gentle, nourishing, and perfect for adding a little everyday luxury to your routin.

Hi, I’m Yeji, the maker behind YESoap! 👋✨

I would like to introduce myself and share my journey with you.

I grew up in South Korea, where the climate is humid, so when I moved to Alberta’s extreme dry weather, my skin went into shock—peeling, itchiness, tightness… to the point where I could barely recognize my own fingerprints! 😲

During COVID-19, I worked in a support role for individuals with disabilities, which required frequent handwashing. The constant use of store-bought soaps and sanitizers worsened my skin issues. That’s when I realized—what you wash with truly matters.. ✔️

Curious and determined, I started making my own soap. My first batch (inspired by a video!) was fascinating, and I wanted to dive deeper.
I took a Handmade Design Soap Master Class (Certified) and later expanded my knowledge with an Eco Green Life Class (Certified) in Korea, where I learned to make sustainable products like all-in-one shampoo bars, rinse bars, pet soap, laundry&kitchen soap, and even solid toothpaste and powder!

I truly understand the struggle of dry, sensitive skin, and nothing makes me happier than knowing my soaps help others.
My mission? To create high-quality, deeply moisturizing soaps that cleanse while restoring essential hydration and balance to your skin. Because self-care should feel special, each soap is thoughtfully crafted to bring a touch of beauty, joy, and luxury to your daily routine.

This soap was a big hit at the last Christmas market, and we’re so excited to share it with more of you!

✔️What is Marseille soap? 
Marseille soap is a traditional French soap made with a high content of olive oil and other natural ingredients. It’s famous for being gentle, mild, and perfect for sensitive skin.

✔️Why is it good?
The olive oil in Marseille soap is packed with antioxidants and vitamins, which deeply nourish and hydrate the skin. It helps maintain the skin’s natural moisture barrier, leaving it soft and smooth.
We’ve also added cocoa powder to this soap, which is rich in antioxidants and helps improve skin texture. Cocoa powder can gently exfoliate, promoting a radiant and healthy glow, while also giving the soap a warm, natural tone.
And with spearmint essential oil, it has a refreshing and uplifting 😃

I can’t believe how quickly it’s approaching.
I didn’t do much gift shopping this year, but I’m all set for a delicious Christmas feast! 🍗🎁
