Black Magic Lash Lounge

It has taken me a bit to post this. I wanted to give myself time & grace to process. I started Black Magic Lash Lounge almost 7 years ago. I moved to Lethbridge where I didn’t know anyone & started a business that solely relied on a clientele. 1.5 years in to the business I expanded to a bigger space. I survived a pandemic & 3 shutdowns. Expanded the Black Magic name and teamed up with two of the most beautiful humans .collective.yql
I passed my knowledge on to 2 amazing ladies who will soon surpass me in talent.
And finally closed up shop & retired from aesthetics on my own terms to start a new adventure in the mountains. I will never be able to express my gratitude enough to every single person who walked thru my door. I became invested in your life & dreams and you supported my dream to the end. It’s been a month of goodbyes but know that you’ll forever hold an important place in my heart. Thank you for the support, love, endless laughs & memories. This dream of mine & Peters would not have been able to happen without you.

💫 So… big news. 💫
• After 10 years and over 20,000 sets of lashes, I will retiring from lashes & aesthetics at the end of August.

If I could describe the past decade in two words, it would be growth and magic. I mastered my craft, I grew a business that has thrived over the past 7 years, I have met people who have changed my life forever, I learned so much about myself and I have shared my craft and knowledge to others. The Black Magic name will remain safely in the talented hands of my coven and .collective.yql
I’m forever grateful the universe brought these ladies into my life. Thank you for carrying on my legacy.

What’s next for me ?… well I’m moving to a small town in the Rocky Mountains to grow and learn new things that the universe has yet to teach me maybe even become a mountain witch. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my journey 🔮

Sarah has been thriving in the beauty industry for 10 years. She has applied her passion for the industry by educating clients how to enhance their natural qualities that allow their beauty to shine. Her quirky & dynamic personality bring a special vibe to the beauty industry. Sarah graduated with honours from Interior Academy of Aesthetics in 2012, from there she quickly realized that she had a natural talent & love for working with the face. She had an amazing opportunity to be a lash apprentice and enter the industry before the lash extensions service blew up around the globe. Sarah continued to learn and grow while working in Kamloops for 5 years where she specialized in classic & volume lashes, advance brow design, makeup, brazilian waxing & as a skincare specialist.
Sarah moved to Lethbridge, Alberta in January 2016 where she opened up .lashlounge She offers an extensive knowledge of lash extensions with having done over 50,000 sets of lashes. Sarah is always continuing education to keep her practice as up to date as possible. She has attended the Global Lash Conference in 2016 where she had the opportunity to learn the industries latest advances from the industry global greats. This is were Sarah first heard of the National Lash Association of Lash Artists. She received her Lash Educator certification thru N.A.L.A. in September 2019. Starting up .lashtraining has been a career long goal & she is honoured to be an educator that inspires & mentors the next generation of lash artists!

Okay lovelies,
As of March 1st the Alberta Government is removing the mask mandate. I am still going to require masks to be worn in the shop. As you know, I work right above your face, and in order to keep myself safe as well as my other guests, please wear your mask. I will reassess this policy as we continue to navigate thru what we hope is the end of the pandemic. Thank you for your continued support! Much love 🥰

🔮 Providing in-depth, quality lash extensions training to students who have a passion for the beauty industry. It is my mission to inspire my students to continue to grow & achieve their dreams with a training program that is in a league of its own. With extensive theory and practical training, Divination Lash Training will be exceeding the most current & up to date courses by providing a mentorship program for students.
