A beautiful moment from our summer! ❤️✨

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of being invited by Skills to Start Summer Program to share some of my knowledge and experience in hair artistry with the children.

From learning about proper hair care and hygiene to parting, cornrows and easy crochet techniques, it was such a joy watching them learn, practice and become more confident with every step. 🥰

For me, this was more than teaching hair — it was about sharing a skill, encouraging creativity and showing our young ones that what they learn with their hands today can become something valuable tomorrow.

What if hair became more than hair?
What if it became ART?

This project was about more than creating a hairstyle. I wanted to bring an entire vision to life—from the hair to the makeup, styling, imagery and final story.

For both creations, I had the opportunity to create the hair artistry, makeup, fashion styling, creative direction and photography—bringing every element together to tell one complete visual story.

And today, I’m excited to officially introduce:

HAIR ARTISTRY BY HAIR BY BLOOM.

A space where hair goes beyond traditional styling and becomes a form of art, expression, culture and creativity.

What a beautiful way to end an amazing learning journey! From crochet and box braids to knotless braid discussions, our final class was filled with hands-on practice, teamwork, and lots of fun.

Ending with a quiz made it even more special. So proud of every participant! 💛 It’s officially a wrap! 🌸
