Wedding Day Moments With You 🤍

I love all of my Brides that I meet in each Wedding Season and this season I met many many wonderful women. 🩷 Every year, I find that there are honestly 1 or 2 that truly truly leave a mark on my heart.

Vanessa was one of them this Summer.

As a Hairstylist, being in the middle of Wedding Season can honestly be at times overwhelming. So much work is done behind the scenes and off of Instagram. I absolutely love creating and being a part of such special mornings but at times it can feel like a lot on my body.

In the middle of this summer, I realized that my energy level was taking a hit. It was to the point that it didn't feel normal. I would be awake for 4 hours in the week and then need to lay down again. I would compare myself to others that had so much energy and think to myself, well why can't I take on all that they do and as fast as they do it?

After having some blood work done, I found out I was struggling with Anemia. With a normal iron level of 30 and above for women my age, my iron levels were at an 8.

I finally had an answer to the exhaustion I was experiencing.

The minute I began iron pills on a high dose that was prescribed to me, I noticed a difference. Almost immediately.

I share this to say that the kindness of Vanessa ( I don't know if she even knew I was going through that ) but it was the kindness of Brides like Vanessa and her warmth that truly encouraged me this Summer.

Most of the time it is about what us as Hairstylists bring to our clients. We are hired for our skills and talent which is so important 🩷 But when a hairstylist is poured into by a client who leaves a lasting impression like Vanessa did , it touches my heart and reminds me that Hairstylists, Makeup Artists, and anyone that works in the wedding industry is truly seen and appreciated for their hard work too 🩷

It's been a great 2025 season! With only 2 but very important weddings left of this year to go, I hope that everyone has a beautiful rest of their 2025 year :) Family time, laughs, deep moments and new memories being made 🥰🩷
