I don’t recommend treatments unless I genuinely believe in them… and NOUVADerm has quickly become one of my favourites in clinic.

I tell my clients, this is truly like an IPL, Chemical Peel and Microneedling session in ONE!!

Why? Because it actually does SO much for the skin. We’re talking:
✨ redness & rosacea
✨ broken capillaries
✨ pigmentation
✨ acne + inflammation
✨ scars
✨ aging skin and deep wrinkles
✨ skin texture
✨ fine lines
✨ overall skin health & glow

What I love most is that it’s not just a “quick fix” treatment. It works WITH your skin to create healthier, stronger skin over time. Clients are seeing brighter, calmer, smoother skin without crazy downtime, and honestly… the results keep impressing me.

If your skin has been feeling dull, reactive, uneven or just not like itself lately, this is one of the treatments I’d seriously look into.

Message me if you’ve been curious about NOUVADerm and I’ll tell you if it’s a good fit for your skin 🤍

Retinol can be amazing for fine lines, acne, texture, and overall skin health… but jumping in too fast is usually where people go wrong. 👀

If you’re new to vitamin A products, there are gentler alternatives and ways to ease your skin into it without wrecking your barrier. Slow and consistent always wins with these ingredients ✨

Comment “RETINOL” and I’ll help guide you on where to start and what may work best for your skin 🤍

AHAs, BHAs & PHAs… what’s the difference and which one does YOUR skin actually need? 👀✨

💧 AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids)
Think: glycolic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid

AHAs work on the SURFACE of the skin to exfoliate dead skin cells, brighten dullness, fade pigmentation and smooth texture.

BEST FOR:
✨ Dry skin
✨ Sun damage
✨ Uneven tone
✨ Fine lines + dullness

🫧 BHAs (Beta Hydroxy Acids)
Think: salicylic acid

BHAs are oil-soluble, meaning they travel DEEP into the pores to dissolve oil and congestion.

BEST FOR:
✨ Oily skin
✨ Acne-prone skin
✨ Blackheads + clogged pores
✨ Enlarged pores

🌿 PHAs (Poly Hydroxy Acids)
Think: gluconolactone, lactobionic acid

PHAs are the gentlest exfoliating acids. They exfoliate while also hydrating and supporting the skin barrier.

BEST FOR:
✨ Sensitive skin
✨ Rosacea-prone skin
✨ First-time acid users
✨ Dehydrated or compromised skin

Not all exfoliants are created equal 👏 The “best” acid depends on YOUR skin type and concerns.

How to choose the RIGHT cleanser for your skin:

❌Your cleanser should NOT leave your skin feeling:

* Tight
* Dry
* Itchy
* Squeaky clean
* Red or irritated

✅ Instead, your skin should feel:

* Soft
* Balanced
* Comfortable
* Hydrated
* Calm

⚠️ Watch out for:

* Harsh scrubs in cleansers
* High alcohol content
* Overly foaming formulas
* Cleansers that make your skin feel “tight” immediately after use

😵‍💫A damaged skin barrier can lead to:

* Breakouts
* Sensitivity
* Redness
* Flaking
* Dehydration
* Even more oiliness

You probably don’t need more products, you just need the RIGHT products!

Here are 5 staple skincare products almost everyone should have in their routine that’s simple, effective, and barrier-focused:

1. A gentle cleanser
Your cleanser sets the tone for your skin. It should clean without leaving your face tight, dry, or squeaky clean.
2. A moisturizer
Even oily skin needs hydration. A good moisturizer helps support the skin barrier, reduce irritation, and keep skin balanced.
3. An antioxidant serum (like Vitamin C)
Helps protect against environmental damage while brightening and supporting collagen production.
4. A treatment product like retinol that targets YOUR skin goals
5. SPF (every single day)
Probably the most important anti-aging and skin-health product you can use. UV damage contributes to:

✨ Not everyone needs a 10-step routine. Most people need:

* Consistency
* Barrier support
* The right products for THEIR skin

Regular Acne vs. Hormonal Acne: What’s the Difference? 👩🏻‍🔬(brought to you by the power of AI)

Not all acne is the same, and treating it correctly starts with knowing why it’s happening.

🚩 Regular acne is often triggered by clogged pores, excess oil, bacteria, skincare products, or lifestyle factors. It can show up anywhere on the face and responds well to consistent skincare and professional treatments.

🚩 Hormonal acne is driven by internal hormone fluctuations and typically appears along the jawline, chin, and lower cheeks. It’s often cyclical, deeper, and more stubborn 🙇🏻‍♀️ meaning it usually needs a more targeted approach beyond just topical products.

The key? Personalized treatment. Once you understand the root cause, you can finally get results instead of chasing breakouts.
