This week, we have been going out to clear ice build-up and shovelling the snow by the cleats so we can adjust them as need be. The pool noodle is our little hack to protect the dock bumper from potential rope damage.

Happy Friday everyone! Today’s is Holly Duke!
Holly has been a certified esthetician for 15 years. She graduated from Sheridan College and worked in many different spas along the way. It was always a dream to have her own spa but she never thought it would become a reality one day. Operating her own spa is something that is taking her out of her comfort zone and is really pushing her to become her own person.
She will be offering relaxation massage, hot stones, body scrubs and facials. There will also be a space where she can showcase the furniture she up-cycles and restores with her side business, Duke Furniture.

We’re so lucky to have access to incredible courses such as The Action First Aid located in Bracebridge.
Our staff had a nice refresher with The Emergency First Aid course yesterday! A workplace emergency could happen at any time and so it’s important to have this training for the team.

As this is being posted it’s snowing outside, BUT we all know it takes new snow to take the old snow away.
We’re looking forward to seeing plants sprouting, the sun shining, open water on the lakes and hearing the streams flow.

Our today is Karen Dawson. A mother of 2 and a wife to an electrician, she has always been active and outdoorsy. Between family life and working as an entrepreneur, she’s a busy woman!
Karen owns Evolve Fit Studio, an exclusively private and small group training facility in Muskoka. She is an experienced Personal Trainer as well as a Registered Massage Therapist for the past 25 years.
Her studio caters to the middle-aged and up population with a focus on strength training, functional movement, balance, and corrective postural exercises. Her workouts are specifically designed for each of her clients.
