Welcome to 's first Christmas Tree hunt!!!! My oldest daughter was NOT impressed that we found our dream tree within 2 min of walking around, so while my husband secretly guarded the tree, the rest of us spent 30 min looking for something better.

Just about to turn out the light and dream sweet dreams. Cedarwood and Northern Lights Black Spruce are diffusing, wee Daniel is snoring, my heated blanket has done its job... everything is perfect!! Here's hoping my husband can put down his book now and turn off the light.

The nights are long and the days are short 🔥 One of the many things I treasure about this season is lying in bed with my tea and staring at my darling after nursing him for the billionth time
We may have done this till almost 11am today 🙈🤣 But... about once a week I've given myself permission to let the four older ones get their own breakfast, complete their homeschool assignments check list and even bring me tea in bed 🎉🥰

Oh my darling makes up the sweetest songs to sing to her brother❤ I love how much she is learning by homeschooling during this season of having another newborn in the house. These are the lessons she will carry with her the rest of her life!! Check out my Insta-story to hear her sing it 🎉

Two weeks ago I accidentally left my wallet in my car one night and the next morning my wallet was gone. I searched for it in the house for a day or two to make sure it wasn’t just but eventually cancelled all my cards. The next day I had a FB message from someone working at a little grocery store downtown who said he had my credit card. 😯I went to the store and he showed me surveillance tape of a man with a $ tattooed under his eye trying to use my card. When it didn’t work he walked out and tossed my card. According to the police, he is very “well known.” I felt so vulnerable knowing he had been outside my house while my children were sleeping going through our things. Thankfully, I replaced my cards and a lovely friend gave me another wallet, exactly like the one that had been stolen, with spaces to carry my essential oils 🎉.

Then on Sunday I took my daughter shoe shopping and set my new wallet down to help her tie her laces. The shoes didn’t fit so I moved two feet away to get her a smaller size and when I turned around, my wallet was gone🥺. I felt shocked...the only people around were mothers with kids. I called for help, we searched the area but nothing. Before we left the store, we prayed for the person who stole it and also prayed that they wouldn’t throw away the full bottle of Frankincense😬, but that it would be a blessing to them instead.
When I got home, I was exhausted and sore so my incredible girls sent me to bed and brought me dinner and tea. But shockingly, the next morning I woke up to discover the diamond from my engagement ring was missing 😩 ... It’s 13 years old and the setting must have failed. Again, my daughters and I prayed.....then I cried and cried some more...
But wait, there’s more 😳After dinner, I looked down at my knee that had become quite sore and saw that it had swollen to the size of a mandarin orange. Thankfully a friend’s daughter came over at the drop of a hat so that I could leave my kids and go to emergency alone. I was concerned it was a clot, but turned out to be a burst vein in my kneecap. It will be sore but fine! On the way to my car......cont in comments 👇🏻

I am SOAKING up the last few weeks of this little man being my baby. All the cuddles, all the kisses, all the tiny socks and shoes and high fives when he uses the toilet. I know that in only eight short weeks he is going to suddenly look like a giant and act like little daddy.
How did you feel when you first brought home a new baby after already having a "baby" at home?

Sometimes I wish we had the bed all to ourselves, and other times I wish our bed was bigger so more of our children could fit. The struggle is real 🤣
How old were your kids when they stopped climbing into bed with you?
