It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to close LJA Aesthetics.

The reasons we are closing is that I have alot going on with my family and with my son being suspected adhd it has affected my mental health dramatically.

Also I have been struggling to get a room to work from, also due to the rental prices plus having 3 children to support, it isnt feasible to achieve this. With the market being Saturated it is getting really difficult to sustain a smooth running business as currently we aren't taking any wages in but we still have overheads. Unfortunately we don't want to go cheap like other businesses as we use genuine products and good quality brands.

I also now need my spare as my daughter is now ready for her own room...

Our insurance runs out in 6 month time, however we will be closing in July.

From my amazing experience my plan is to go into nursing in a few years Once my son has his assessment... at this present time I cannot fully committ to my aesthetics business due to my sons challenging behaviour and mentally I'm really struggling.

As most don't know I almost took a breakdown in March but this was due to a former best friend who was in an abusive and violent relationship and since then it has took me months to get better.

I lost my best friend due to her abusive and violent partner to cut a long story short was meant to go to court. The stress of not feeling safe in your own home was something else.

Having all of that added stress, sons Behavioural problems , my own mental health and wellbeing I think it is for the best to close down so I can concentrate on myself getting better and to get the support that I need for my son.

However this isn't the end as in the future I plan to do nursing once my children have grown up and once my son has the support he needs and is settled more.

I would like to thank all my clients and friends for all the laughs we had, the time we got to know each other. I enjoyed doing all of everyone luscious lips / lip fillers.

Anyone who is due for a top up has until July to book in as after this date we will be closing. Hopefully we will back one day.....

I have came to the decision that I will no longer be correcting other practitioners work unless client's are willing to dissolve and start from scratch.

⛔️ REASONS WHY ⛔️

🚫 Some client's have really bad migration and overfilled lips and in order for me to correct then a dissolve treatment is needed.

🚫 If you aren't willing to dissolve and start from scratch then you are better going back to your previous practitioner as we are not willing to put client's at risk when they already have overfilled and migration of lip filler. Plus you are not meant to mix filler brands.

💋 As an aesthetics practitioner we strongly suggest to stick to your own practitioner and not go to various practitioners as this is why complications occur.

Sticking to your own practitioner is the best way as they know your lip anatomy, what look your trying to achieve, how much filler you need which filler brand is most suited to your needs, which techniques etc.

As an aesthetics practitioner I do not like taking on other practitioner's client's!! As long as its been a year and mostly all filler gone then yes I can do your lip filler.

However if it is an emergency and you need an emergency dissolve we are happy to do this, however we would charge your practitioner for our dissolve fee.

Complications do occur and some are very serious but rare but when a serious complication arises some practitioners don't know how to deal with it, so in return will neglect treating the complication which can be very dangerous.

If you ever have a serious complication YOU MUST GET IN TOUCH WITH YOUR PRACTITIONER FOR A REVIEW APPOINTMENT ASAP.... some complications aren't serious but if they are then you only have a 72hr window especially if you have a vascular occlusion.

Vascular occlusion are rare but they do and can happen. If you ever have a vascular occlusion it MUST BE DISSOLVED WHETHER OR NOT YOU WANT THAT FILLER DISSOLVED.

WE AS PRACTITIONERS HAVE A DUTY OF CARE TO ALL OF OUR CLIENTS.

Please, please always listen to your practitioner.

Even if your practitioner says you only need 0.7ml but you want the full 1.1ml it doesn't work like that unfortunately.

We can only administer an amount which is safe and most suitable for your lips.

Having more filler than you need can cause migration, over filled lips and sometimes complications.

Minor complications can happen and its not always your practitioners fault.

For example filler can move or be squashing against a blood vessel causing a vascular compromise and to to treat this we need to do warm compress and firm massage to move that filler off of the blood vessel or nerve etc.

Sometimes we can get superficial filler which we can also be corrected by either saline flush / lance the filler out.

( Always make sure you fill out a consent / consultation forms, ensure your practitioner is insured as well )

When getting filler treatments don't go for deals under £80 as it may mean cheap or false products being used.

Always check the ce mark and batch codes.
