Lash artistry isn’t just about applying extensions, it’s about creating a seamless, well-balanced design that enhances the client’s features while maintaining proper weight distribution for retention.

For this Hybrid 5D Cat Eye, I worked with a client who had healthy, long, and fairly straight natural lashes. This allowed for longer lengths while ensuring a safe and structured application.

💗 Key Mapping Techniques:
✔ Layering & Staggering: Lash lengths were staggered across different layers to add dimension and texture, creating a soft, wispy effect.
✔ Directional Placement: Each fan was placed strategically to guide the lashes into a smooth transition, ensuring the signature swoop and flick of a Cat Eye style.
✔ Blending for a Cohesive Look: Proper blending across sections ensures no harsh gaps between lengths, keeping the set seamless and natural.

🚨 Common Mistakes to Avoid:
❌ Not blending multiple lengths, which can make a set look unnatural.
❌ Incorrect fan placement, leading to a choppy or uneven look.
✅ Solution? Practice blending and layering!
