The dehydrator is working overtime today! Lemongrass, rosemary, mint, pears and oranges are all drying and getting ready for upcoming batches of my simmer pots.

There’s something so satisfying about turning simple fruits and herbs into something that makes the whole house smell cozy. 🍐🌿✨

🍂 Market Day is Almost Here! 🍂

I’m getting everything packed up and ready because Christa’s Creations will be at the upcoming market! 🤍

I’ll be bringing a big selection of my handmade favourites — artisan beef tallow soaps, whipped tallow body butters, face care, lip balms, room sprays, simmer pots, bath salts, laundry products, gift sets and more.

I’ve also been busy creating some new fall scents and products that will be making their market debut. 🍎🍂

I’ve been busy behind the scenes at Christa’s Creations giving the website a refresh and getting some brand-new products ready for you.

You’ll now find new handcrafted tallow soaps, updated Whipped Tallow Body Butter options — including Unscented — and a cleaner, easier way to browse the shop.

There are quite a few new creations waiting for you, and I’m pretty excited to finally have them all in one place.

Everything is handcrafted in small batches right here in West Point, PEI.

🍌 NEW FALL SOAP — GOLDEN BANANA CRUMBLE 🍂

Well… this one surprised me. 😂

It started out a beautiful caramel colour, then as my hot-process soap cooked, the banana purée worked its magic and completely transformed it.

The result is Golden Banana Crumble — a rich, rustic conditioning tallow soap scented with:

🍌 Banana
🤎 Warm cinnamon
🤍 Creamy vanilla

I made this batch with real banana purée, and after the cook I enriched it with additional beef tallow and olive oil for a rich, conditioning bar.

And because that deep rustic colour was begging for something extra… I finished those chunky textured tops with gold. ✨

No two bars look exactly alike, and I think that’s part of what I love about this one.

Something new is whipping up at Christa’s Creations 👀

Fresh batches of whipped tallow are underway, and I’ve been working on some new scents for the O’Leary Market on September 12th.

I’m not telling you the scents just yet… 😏

🌼 NEW & LIMITED — GOLDEN SOLACE 🌼

This one took months, not days, to make.

Golden Solace starts with calendula from my garden that is harvested, dried and slowly infused to capture all that botanical goodness. The infusion gives the serum its naturally beautiful pale golden-yellow colour — no artificial colour needed. 🌼

I’ve blended that infusion with beef tallow, sweet almond oil, rosehip seed oil, jojoba oil and vitamin E to create a silky, concentrated body serum that leaves skin feeling deeply nourished, soft and smooth.

Calendula has traditionally been loved for its soothing and skin-conditioning properties and for supporting the skin’s natural repair process, while tallow and these nourishing oils help replenish and protect dry skin.

And here’s the catch…

I only made 10 bottles.

My next calendula infusion isn’t ready yet, so once these 10 are gone, Golden Solace is gone until the next infusion is ready.

I actually had to go back and count because I couldn’t believe it myself.

In the last 30 days, I’ve restocked Christa’s Creations products 12 different times — and each restock has been a little different. Soaps, body butters, lip balms, home products and more have all been making their way off the shelves.

For my little handmade business, that is HUGE. 🥹

Every product is made, poured, mixed, labelled and packaged by me, so seeing people choosing my products — and coming back for more — means more than I can put into words.
